How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

When my phone rings and this number displays, I answer it, it rings as if I called them. Then some middle aged lady with a thick accent comes on asking for me by name. She said my auto loan was approved. I said I haven't applied for any loan. She hung up. She has called me every day this week. Who are these people and wtf do they want?
That I was approved for a loan and need to call back within 48 hours. Get these calls at work too.....ridiculous!
They're one of those "payday" loan services.

2 calls from this number, the first was at 2 am. No message either time. Very professional.
They asked for a certain person in my house. Asked how he was doing. Heard alot of laughter in the back ground and said they were AUTO LOAN and approved him on a loan. Well we just said we were not interested and hung up. I know this is fraudelent.

They say I have been chosen for a loan of up to $1500. They will deposit it into my account within 48 hours. Just a recording no real person. Want my account number. No company name
Calls with the same message keep coming to my home number. Making a credit offer of some kind. If home I usually pick up and put down the phone immediately before listening to the whole speal. Once I pressed what they told me to in hopes of speaking to someone and only got passed on to another recorded message. I believe they are coming through on different numbers according to my caller ID. This last one said Loan Processing Call. I don't have any oustanding debt. I consider this harrassment and I am registered on the do not call registry as well. Who can I notify about this?
