TFZ LLC - No Message - Need more phone companies to allow call blocking and not just a limited amount of numbers. Would stop this garbage and get them to block the numbers coming into the system.

I am getting frequent calls from this number--sometimes 3 a day or more. When I answer the phone the line goes dead. It usually comes through as TFZLLC but I also get Clearwater Florida.

The number that showed up was actually 206-397-1563, but the ID said TFZ LLC.

On my caller ID this number has showed up as Spam 05 25 10 and also as Telemrket Fraud.

Caller said she was 'Janey' and calling about lowering my credit card interest rates. Repeated 'Press 1 now' several times during message. Did not give me an alternative to stop the calls by pressing another button, which she should have done. Obviously an autodialer or computer, walking through phone numbers, because mine is on the Do Not Call list. When I pressed '1'. nothing happened.

Very strange episode. My caller id showed the number 213-363-5124 and the name "SPAM 05 25 10." (The call was received at 6:44 PM on 05 27 10, btw.) There was a voice mail message, nothing but a VERY loud, crackling electronic noise, like static. You could hear the call disconnect at the end as the person (or computer) hung up. I have never gotten a call like this before and have no idea what to make of it. I assumed it was some sort of prank. I've been on the National No-Call List since the list was started, but it seems to have very little effect.

Answering machine message was a a "plea" to push 1 to connect in order to reduce credit card interest rates.

213-363-5124 called and gave some automated Fraud BS about lowering your credit card. I thought I'd try to get them in trouble, but when I hit 1 to continue it hung up on me.

I listened through the obviously phony bit on credit card interest rates and hung up when the recorded voice instruction was to "press 1" to get started. Appears like an attempt at ID theft.

I listened to just the beginning of the msg. Apparently they have changed ploys. It stated that President Obama and congress has asked credit card companies to lower interest rates. They are calling to do so. To begin press one. I hung up. I tired calling back and got a busy signal. The third try a recorded msg answered. It basically said if you were calling about their promotion to press one or if you wished to be removed from their call list to press two. And, immediatey hung up.

Caller ID says MIK CO and talks about they can lower my credit card intrest. sounds like another scam to me Robot call. press 1 and then ask more info. hungup

Caller ID was MIK CO and pitch was an automated system "calling about my credit card" saying "the President (Obama, though not mentioned by name) had mandated that they help lower my credit card interest rate."

Obviously a boiler-room scam of some kind.

My cell number is supposed to be private. I don't know how these ass holes obtained it but I am tired of the calls. Plus they hung up on me and I can't call them. I have a mother and a father-in-law in the hospital and my cell is for emergencies regarding them

Heard the dead air after I said hello, and simply said if your in marketing, don't even bother wasting my time. Still nothing on the other end for about 3 seconds, said hello again, still nothing. I gave the person on the other end a 3-2-1 countdown and simply said buh bye.

I believe this a company phishing for ID information. The initial recording says that they want to lower your interest rate on credit cards because your credit is so good. You press a key if interested, and the person then asks for your name & address and your credit card number. Well, since THEY initiated the call, you shouldn't need to provide ANY information.

On March 30, with caller ID saying MIK CO, a supposed funeral services co called. I have received 3 other funeral service calls (Nov, late Jan, early Feb). None, including this one identified the caller. This one started out with "this is an important announcement...said funerals cost 6000 to 10,000 dollars, leaving families in debt and that program pays 100% of funeral expenses. Don't know if this is related, but I received a new email spammer on 3/31/10 called Directsourcewarrantz ( Suite 500, Reno NV 89501). Each time the funeral service called me before, a new spammer contacted me w/in days of the call. I know how the spammers have my email address, and it is possible the phone harrasser came from the same place. A World Avenue USA unethically acquired my info, and distributed it to many parties who then abused the info, despite my blocking that distribution. If you are receiving these funeral services calls and have become entangled with World Avenue through one of their many aliases, let the FTC and others know this in your complaint. At least one of World Avenue's webpages states that it will give consumer private info to a Firebrand Group and Worldwide Commerce Associates (WCA). The Firebrand Group is a NV telemarketing company under WCA that sends pre-recorded telephone calls to people even if they are on DNC, which I am on.

The funeral (insurance?) company never has a real person on the other end if you press the number to speak with someone. And, they never call back to get their business after I attempt to tell them to do so by pressing the number. They just call every so often with the prerecorded message, again, and again. They may be scouting out if the information they have is still valid, and, perhaps they are connected with the unethical email spams. The other phone numbers that have contacted me and used by the funeral (insurance?) co are: 502-254-0953 (Nov and Jan), 404-206-7142 (2/2/10). I have placed similar notes about World Avenue on Who Called us at those numbers, if you want to see more information or description. Please notify the FL Attorney General (or other appropriate AG), the FTC and any other authorities if you strongly believe that World Avenue, or other abusive company, has distributed any of your identifying information to unethical spammers, Internet criminals, telemarketers or others you do not want to have your info, and/or who have harrassed you via phone or email, or attempted phishing/frauds/crimes. If there are links to any of the spammers, the abusive companies, the telemarketers and/or the criminals several of us need to report our individual connections. Thanks.

Now I got : I cancelled my credit card with Orchard Bank ( HSBC ) just 2 days ago ! This could be the trigger of these calls ! And there is probably nothing the law can do against these people since you did business with a credit card company, I guess.. hope somebody get these people by the balls !!! They need to stop and pay a $ 16,000 fine per call ! I encourage evrybody to investigate , the more information the better. They must be closed in and stopped !

i got about 3 calls from this company today and have been getting a few a week for the last two months. my number has been on the do not call list since i moved in in sept. i am going to listen next time and try to unsucribe.

Does anyone have any useful information. Obviously pressing "1" during any number of a hundred phone numbers these du$%@bags call from doesn't work. Who are they and how do we start a class action lawsuit? Any attorneys out there. FCC isn't doing anything and DONOTCALLLIST isn't scaring them off nor is my VOIP's anonymous caller rejection. I just want the calls to stop and see them prosecuted. Although a fine for every phone call placed for the last day of every week, month, and year they've been calling me would be nice. If you don't recognize the number don't answer is the game I play with these people. Pick up reciever and drop it right back before they can say anything. Some get the message but most don't and call again and again only to have me pickup enough to disconnect them. This is a new number on my phone but it won't get answered. The no call list has cut some of the telemarketing calls and dun calls down but not 100%. They seem to use a ton of numbers to call not just one and leaving you hang is the name of the game.. They even called me one time asking for my son's former mother in law that lives about at least 3 states away and he hasn't been married to the daughter for years. Told him to check the phone book and which town don't really know the woman but do know they never pay their bills and to take my name off their list. Normally would not give information but that whole bunch deserves anything they get they scammed my kid out of over $100,000.

TFZ LLC on caller ID. They have also called me from 408-587-2105. I am blocking them with the FREE PhoneTray computer program. If you want a copy of this computer program go to: phonetray.com and install it on your home computer. It works great as any telemarketer can only annoy me ONCE. After that they are blocked forever.

I am on the DO NOT CALL registry so I filed a complaint against them. Whomever George Parker is, he can go jump off the highest bridge as far as I am concerned. These people are losers and I truly wonder if it does any good to file complaints. The feds don't seem to do anything! donotcall.gov

Why does not everyone just go to donotcall.gov and place all their phone numbers on the Federal Do Not Call List. Once posted your number is there for life. Second file a complaint against TFZ, LLC and any other company that comes up on the same website, research the number from below or on the web. If enough people file with Feds at some point company is going to fold or get tired of Feds and stop. I know another will appear, and then we can start filing against a new company, enough heat and maybe they will all disappear. You must remember if we quit they win.. Personally I like the idea below about sending them to Irag and Afghanistan. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

searched the map...were in Hawaii, WTF !!! everyday these guys call,no red icon to say they call down here too. I don't answer these types of calls.

they'd stop...nope. I even get one that say "out of area". but no number is shown on the phone...I don't answer those either... Hawaii and Nevada have only 1 area code that I know of, all the other states have more than 1 area code..

A Thomas Robinson called and left me a VM that I requested a Loan Modification. He did not identify on the VM who the company is. This is a scam. I called and of course Thomas was on the other line and I told the guy that we should not be getting these type of calls, he told me he would block this number, when I asked how he was going to do this he said the number came up. I then asked why I was recieving this call, he hung up. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE SCAMMERS!!!

this number shows up on my caller ID. But a voice message left was from a Thomas Roberts (or Robertson) with the "loan modification department" company unknown. The phone number I was to call in the message was different : 977-290-1813 and the message was bogus, because I have not applied for a loan nor have I had problems making my payments ( his comments, hoping it might fit) Beware of these people. Unidentified California call like this... no way. Even if he is a mortgage broker, I wouldn't trust such a scam call. Why are they hiding their identity?

A recorded message that goes, "This is Sophie from the loan servicing department." (Not about credit cards and interest rate though.) It also said press 1 to speak to someone, and 9 to be taken off the list so I hit 9. Don't know if that works.

I called them back (although I think it is only one person in the entire "business") and told him to delete my business phone or I would begin prosecution. I heard scrambling on the other end as he couldn't get off the phone fast enough. The recorded message was the same as before. Loan modification department received my request and understood I was having trouble making my mortgage payments. They would probably ask a lot of personal questions, steal your identity, and then rob you blind.
This guy called the worng person. Maybe the phone and communication carriers should screen their "business" customers as close as they do their resi customers.

Scam outfit called with a robomessage to refinance mortgages. They didn’t say their company name (ID’d online as TFZ, LLC). Said to press 1 to talk to a rep or 9 for my number to be removed. Neither did anything while the message kept spewing it’s BS. I guess TFZ means “The Forbidden Zone” – Self explanatory if you sucker in on them. They also call from 978-570-2241 & 603-214-3565.
Time for another complaint to the FCC.

I received a call from TFZ LLC yesterday, about the United States Government and President Barrack Obama giving them authorization to help people reduce their credit card finance charges, so I asked which one, and the response I got was just what I expected," any one of them, visa, mastercard, american express or discovery." So I boldly asked and how much would this cost us, and the response was "it depends on the amount of debt you owe." So I said you must think I am stupid and said I am not interested and hung up the phone.

got the same call from the same number. i just ignore the calls, but i may take some advice answering with "Town Morgue,or eugens escort service. Maybe that will send them somewhere else. lol

Just entered our number on national do not call list last week and now getting this type of call 2 - 3 times a day.

They begin calling at 805am. When I answer no one is on the line. I wait, and no one has yet to pick up....Nice business strategy.

When I received this call my caller ID showed "Unknown Name." I basically stopped answering any calls that are not my local area unless I know the number. After reading the comments here, I have gotta share a good one for those of you who are sick of such calls. If you must answer (can't stand hearing the phone ring when they refuse to hang up) a friend of mine gave me a good solution -- Answer the phone with "Pizza, pick up or delivery?" OR my favorite is answer the phone "County Morgue" The latter really shuts them up and it's funny as you hear them thinking of a response. When I said this to one telemarketer, they still went on to ask for me [by name though it was a telemarketer] I repeated, "this is the county morgue, how may I help you?" They then hang up, stunned. ROFL

They had a message on my machine discussing a payment between two individuals. The person was authorizing a payment from her checking account for $699. They even discussed the account number and routing number of the bank. Very strange.

They called me, left no message when I didn't answer. I am glad I did a search on the number.

Yes, I just received a call from this number, and many other numbers like this saying they can refinance my mortgage. Sad thing is, I rent an apartment. I've gotten so many calls that I've changed my answering machine's setting to speak in french when it answers the call, and it seems to scare them away pretty well. If not that and I actually get an person and not some automated crap, I have one of my room mates scream obscenities at them in Japanese. Talk about ROTFLMAO.

Called with a recorded message from local politicians twice. This appears to just be a call center.

They called me at 9:00 p.m. and when I told them to take me off the list that it was too late to call, Margret got very rude and hung up. She should have at least apologized and took me off the list. This is a problem for me and I am not at all happy about this. I do not even have a mortgage.

From a "mortgage refinancing" company. Pressed 1 to talk to someone and was on hold for at least a half hour before someone picked up. Tore them a new butt-hole, and the guy had the onions to continue with the sales pitch. told him another thing or 2 and hung up.

There was an option to be removed from calling list OR to talk with a rep.
