If the identity is Pacific Trading & Associates (also Pacific Trading Academy) they list a number of 310-204-4781 and have a very strange answer machine message that shouts: "please leave a detailed message" and they never return calls. Even if you call the office number on their website they don't return calls. They just deliver an incredible sales pitch to enroll you in some very good training with their very good trading mentors, but they fail to respond to requests for customer service from their office staff. This puts a whole damper on what could be a good training program: good teachers fronted by a scam sales pitch.

Received call from PAC TRADING AS, 213-351-7604. I answered and said "hello"...several times, but no responde. It was probably an auto-machine generated call that would get routed to somebody if a person answers...but nobody said anything when I said "hello". I then researched this number and company name.

Caller left no message on answer machine. Friends and legitimate businesses leave messages.

Yes this appears to be a telephone soliciting type of center. But not sure what for though.

Called back number from *69 last call check.

Got an answering machine that said to please leave my name and a phone number and someone will call me back.

Sounded like a spam or telephone solicitation outfit

Called, then hung up.

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
