My moms house number. 3 solid weeks in a row, at 5am, like clockwork.
She called back and finally got someone to answer, only to have them tell her she needed to call back from her cell phone.
Wtf?
First, a weird call this morning on my cell phone from 830 931 0323, asking for someone I have never heard of. That number is unlisted in Castroville. Then 210 930 682 calls a few minutes later with 'privacy manager' on the caller ID. I did not answer.
My parents got this call and then one minute later got a call from "TAke a message" asking to speak to me. I have not lived at home for 35 yrs.
Message to Fran i have it. The call comes in anyway. And when the hell have you ever known SWbell to ever provide a funtion that worked as intended. If they wanted to you can tell them to block this number permenetly. And they used to do this. But now they dont. So news flash. They dont provide services that they don't want to support. Anyone who pays them to allow there number allows the number.

Southwestern Bell has a new product designed to give San Antonio customers the option of preventing unwanted telephone calls.
The product, called Privacy Manager, works as an enhancement to a caller ID system and will give customers per-call control to accept or reject calls that come up on their caller ID display as unavailable or out of area.
The caller is given the choice of verbally identifying himself to the subscriber, unblocking caller information to pass through caller ID, or entering a code given by the subscriber.
Subscribers then have a choice of taking the call, ignoring the call, forwarding the call to an answering system or sending a prerecorded phone-solicitor rejection message.
Privacy Manager-Two calls 4/28 and 4/29/08 on recall no one there to take call. reverse look-up shows location on delarosa/flower area in san antonio. don't know who it is either creepy just started.

When Privacy Manager asked if I wanted to know who was calling. All I got was a computer generated voice repeating my name. Last name first. Really creepy.
I called back and said noone was there to answer the call.
