How do I stop them from calling?

JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I got automated phone call reportedly from Michael Reagan (I don't have caller ID, thus unknown call's origin). When system asked about taxes affecting ALL AMERICANS, I asked how affect people in Venezuela, it disconnected. Checking internet, Reagan's web site indicate NOT former president's son making these calls.
Always busy on call back.
Why are these wing nuts allowed to bother people? Are they trying to find out how many of them there are? Sane people will find these questions offensive.
I am on a do not call list, why do I keep getting these calls.
These folks call everyday. I don't answer the phone; they don't leave a msg. Tonite, I picked up the phone to stop the ringing & hung up immediately. They are driving me nuts!!
2nd call showing this ID. I picked up -automated voice said from Michael Reagan-I answered ?'s with random Yes and No. Didn't want to deal with these calls coming in daily until I finally picked up. Skew the answers - ruin the poll - had some time on my hands and didn't care.
Why should I pay a phone call to be removed from a call list I did not subscribe to and have call block, do not call lists etc. Do we have nothing better to do with our time
The call I received was from Ron Reagan. Looked at Michael Reagan's website. First thing on there was a statement that he DID NOT authorize the use of his name. Seriously doubt that Ron, the progressive brother, knew about the use of his name either. The "questions" were distortions about abortion, taxation,the health care bill.
Let's all return Michael Reagan's call personally. I'm sure he'd love to hear our views and responses to his phone call. Boy, if I only had his personal number, I would definitely post it here and would make the first call of many to him. I am so tired of these types of calls from telemarketers, political organizations, surveyors and scammers! I have made the decision to fight back. I will take any appropriate measures to get these companies/organizations to desist in making these calls...even if it means taking legal action against them. I normally tell the ones that reach me that I will be recording their conversation. That usually ends in a hang-up. I do have the equipment to record a call (purchased from Radio Shack). I am now on the offensive, instead of the defensive and it FEELS GOOD!
