Is there any way to stop these calls?

Getting 1-3 calls per day on my cell phone - leaves no voice mail. Have listed as spam so I don't answer the call.

I asked FFFF to stop calling me months ago, but they started calling me again...daily. I finally answered today and explained they were asked not to call. He wanted me to listen to what he had to say anyway! So, I filed a complaint on donotcall.gov site.

whoever is calling from FFFF @ 208-388-3328 is calling my mother-in-laws phone and and asks to speak to me and she tells them I do not live there and she will give me a message because my number is unlisted, but they keep calling her over and over she says they are very rude.

They call my cellphone and I have no idea how they got the number. Same thing happened last year with another "family film" group from Utah (not sure if they're related companies). I just now filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry.

This is so frusterating - company is called feature family films - they are so rude and pushy they also use 307-265-3512...They call morning noon and night!!! Good thing I have a zillion minutes!!!!

Same firm also uses 616 980-2351. We are on National Do-Not-Call-List, but it doesn't matter to these people. We've never had any relationship with them, whatever. They always call & ask for my wife. When I say she's not available, they hang up before I can ask them not to call again. Finally, today, I called them back and told them not to call again. They said they'd take us off the list. We'll see.

Meanwhile, I also filed a complaint with the Do-Not-Call List, included the following note: "This is a followup note to my earlier complaint. (They did not call again, but this is more information.) Apparently, this firm is in open defiance of the Do-Not-Call List. See a long list of complaints filed on this number at internet link whocalled.us .

This appears to be a major violator of the DNC list, and the kind of firm that the DNC list was set up to handle. We hope you will file a major complaint against them, with appropriate financial penalty."

Their call have gone beyond irritating. They call all hours of the day and oftentimes hang up right after I answer. They need to be handled by the FCC.

I have asked them to take my name and number off their list, but they hang up as soon as I tell them I don't have any small children living in my house. I am also on the Do Not Call List but apparently that doesn't mean anything.

This appears at least twice a day on my caller ID. At least a morning call and evening call every day. Never have answered it but have figure out who they are from the comments below. Who would of thought buying a simple movie would lead to this. I will just continue to not answer but it is annoying they call twice a day. I am also on the DNC list.

FFFF are desparate people. They have to be, because they call every single day and night. You would think they would get the message.

They call me ALL the time, I have explained that I am not working and cannot afford movied but they keep calling...SEVERAL times a day

I get this call almost everyday.I have a called ID.Please,is any one can stop them to keep calling.

I got some movies from them once and told them we'd look them over. Then they call back for your input. It's after this that they try to sucker you in ot buy more stuff by offering a $5.00 credit. I requested on this day they remove me from their list. We'll see.

I get a call from this number almost everyday. I have a called ID so I never answer, but it is aggravating. I wish it would stop.

They call and call. Never leave a message. Now they appear to be faxing me!

They make a sale through one of the local churches fund raisers. They they have a relationship with you, like your phone or cable tv company...this exempts them from the DNC list! Clever.

I think the church thing is just a front.

These people, Feature Films For Families, started calling us years ago. I bought a couple of their movies but when they started getting pushy I told them to stop calling and stop sending their materials. They stopped sending the materials but never have quit calling. They call every 3-6 months with the same tactics as Greg's post earlier. I've written and asked to be taken off of their call list but they still call. Don't even get started with them. P.S. Their films are good but once you start buying from them they will send you new ones every month to buy and you either send them back or you pay for them. Oh, and they do use different phone numbers too.

This company started calling us after my idiot mother-in-law gave our phone number to them. When they called us they would always start out by asking, "Are you upset over the violence in movies today?" I finally got smart and told them; "No, my family and I love the violent movies and the more blood and guts the better." They thanked me for my time and then hung up. I never heard from them again!!!

They called at 9pm tonite! RUDE!! This company started to call us back in 2005. They wormed their way into our lives via my sons kindergarden class. They sent home family movies to watch, then you could purchase them after. They started to BUG us constantly. We had to get pretty firm with them. Now they are trying to worm back in. If I wanted any of their products, I would have contacted them!!

They call my house with MANY different numbers. Is this not harassment? I too am on DNC.

I live in the UK and received a call from them today. I am registered with TPS (equiv. of do not call) and have complained.

Don't know who they are, so I didn't answer, I am also on the do not call list.

They call every single morning at 8:30. I am also on the DNC.

My experience was like that of Greg's - thought they were taking a survey, now am on this call list. Get calls daily.

Like all of you Unknown callers or telemarketers drive me totally nuts. I contacted my phone company and they offered Call Blocker service (free of charge). This service allows me to enter a code and the number that I no longer want to get a call from and I never here from them again. There is also Annoyance Call Blocker that will stop all calls that are not identified (Unknown or Private Numbers). Right now this service is not available in my area but I hope it is soon!!

I am really upset about these people and other numbers from similar "companies" like these. I suspect they are calling from outside the country, and I bet they already called the wrong number and are about to get caught:)

FFFF has been pestering us under a different name for some time (We are on the DNC Registry} The caller ID showed FFFF this morning. I am off to the DNC Registry to complain.

I'm not sure what they want. Has anyone talked to them? and yes, i think someone from some Foundation called first, but i still dont know what they need from me?

I agree with Greg's message. These jerks never take NO for an answer.

They are indeed Feature Films for Family. They violate many laws pertaining to telemarketing and don't-call-lists, including not identifying themselves when asked, hanging up when asked for their address and contact information, and allying with a sister "charity" organization called The Dove Foundation to circumvent federal Do-Not-Call regulations. They will begin the conversation by asking questions under the guise of conducting an opinion poll regarding objectionable content in movies (which is except from do-not-call restrictions), but eventually they will get around to selling their movies (a business enterprise which must comply with Do-Not-Call). They have already been fined by the state of Missouri for this practice. Another thing to beware: their "callers" are actually pre-recorded computer files manipulated by the operator who may be engaged in multiple calls at one time. This is why you will hear repetitive, identical questions and not get logical answers when you ask them questions. Avoid this organization, NEVER tell them to call back at a better time, tell them to take you off their list, and most importantly: report them as violators if your telephone number is on the Federal Do-Not-Call List!

Also wanted to note that there are other numbers that are not 208 area code that they call from. I have listed two other numbers that when I called received the same recording.

Feature Films for Family is who answers a Recording. I get calls daily from them and I am on the DNC as well.
