How do I stop them from calling?

They say I have been selected for a survey and at that point I hug up. These people have called three times on my cell phone, always while I am driving. One a recording and two other times there was a woman. Each time I have told the humans I am not interested.
This number just called like 60 seconds ago. I don't answer calls I don't recognize as we are unlisted government employees. They don't leave a message and now that these other reports inform me it is political I will be making an official report about the calls. We have also been getting a ton of other various toll free and odd area code numbers of the same sort all day and night! I could not be more displeased! Just as an FYI thàt might help others you do need to renew your do not call list status every once and a while and while these calls would still happen you should check your status and also file an FTC complaint. It is the only thing that makes a difference in some circumstances.
Same ol' same ol' scam telemarketers. Tells you it's a "political survey" (so they can skirt the Do Not Call rules) and then tells you if you participate, you can win a free cruise. Except, turns out there's a huge "processing fee" to claim that "free" cruise, and they need your credit card information to boot (imagine that). These people call my cell phone DAILY from different numbers from this same (206) 496-exchange. I'd like to kmow who gave them my cell number-- I'd love to return the favor. I just keep reporting them to the Do Not Call site for whatever it's worth. And I keep hanging up on them. These people have NO conscience whatsoever.
