How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
- Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I have gotten a call from this place the last two days. I have never been a verizon customer and have no one that I know who is as we cannot get verizon at this time here where I live. So whoever is saying pay your bill should get their asses kicked becouse most of here have never been their customer. Have now blocked this number on my home phone.
Relax guys!! Varolli is a third party company that handles Dunning calls for not one client but many. I work for Verizon and Verizon sends them daily files of 1000'S of customers who havent made payment on the account. It is quite possible that your records can slip into the Dunning call list too by mistake... This is all automated feature. No one has time and money in Verizon to automatically call each and every individual. So after 45 days if your bill isnot recieved it goes trhough a dunning process.
If your name is on the list and its a mistake just simply call Verizon and ask them to correct it.
It is Verizon
My little sister keeps getting phone calls from 206-315-3010.. She does have Verizon, but she's not the primary account holder nor is her account balance past due. WE EVEN CHECKED. What's really messed up is the fact that she's 12!! They apparently call her several times a day. She answered once but no one was on the line, all the other times it has gone to voicemail and its just an automated message. The message says
"This is Verizon Wireless calling with an important message. Please call us at 1-800-249-2462 to change the information on your account" or something similar.
I registered her number on the Do Not Call List, so this kind of thing doesn't happen again... and we also notified Verizon Wireless of the calls- they said they would block the number from calling her again. So it definitely seems that this is some type of scam!
dumbasses keep calling my numbwer its not me they are asking for
It's Verizon calling about my cell phone account being over due. They call 2 or 3 times every day. Problem is, my cell phone is a pre-paid phone with a different carrier... Dumbasses.
It is 10:36pm! Another call from (206)315-3010 just came in! So not ok!
I do truly believe its a Verizon related issue, but wow I'm in shock with how unproffesional they are. Call shows up as "unknown" but my droid app MR CALLER ID identifies them as Verizon. Just seems way to sketchy they call atleast 12 times a day from two numbers (also 949-286-3311). First received ligit text from Verizon reminding me to mail my defective phone within 10 days of receiving my manufacturer replacement, I mailed it back after exactly 4 days, should be no biggie, my bill actually has a credit of $147.20 so no worries there. So my point is...... blocked caller ID, calling from 5:40am-10:46pm,using multiple numbers, Never even leaving a message, can't get a live person when I return call, & Verizon says they don't know why they are calling me! I refuse to communicate with these people. I have been a customer of VRZ for 12 years I pay my bill, always been very happy with them; so if Verizon has a problem w then I will b happy to find out what & fix it! Something is not right or ok with these people!! WE REALLY NEED SOMEONE WHOSE DEALT WITH THEM TO TELL US IF #1 THE PROBLEM WAS LIGIT & THE OUTCOME, I SEE NONE ONLY ASSUMPTIONS! I'm so over it thank you CallBlocking apps! I now have 3 apps allowed me to mark. Both #s as spam & my phone can finally STFU. Be careful! just call Verizon directly 611 because any issue u may or may not have or not have, Verizon will take care of it & tell u what's up. There is No reason for this or this creepy company!
they keep calling my son...we have a family plan with verizon, and contrary to what some of these people are saying, i am NOT late...my bill is current...anyway, my son is not the primary for the plan, and no one else is getting these phone calls, so it MUST be a scam....the last time i was late (about 2 yrs ago) verizon got hold of the primary # (husband) by text on his phone....
Let it go to voicemail. Message was in spanish. I don't have verizon accounts so no idea why they're calling.
Verizon automated survey.
They misbilled me saying it was a credit not to pay when I changed my service. Then they didn't bill me at all for two months so I was overdue. I paid them. But since then their billing has been messed up. I pay on the 15th and they get the money around the 19th (ie it's taken out of my bank account) and the bill isn't due for 10 more days and yet they consistently don't credit the account for 3 more weeks! I just got another 'overdue' bill, so I called them and explained what was going on and that there was already a payment in the pipeline for the full amount because I was frustrated with their ass backwards policies. Only since I'd received the bill (4 days ago) they managed to credit the money I sent them the month before so now I owe less than I've sent.. and it will be all messed up again. :( Really their phone service is great but their billing sucks scum water.
Basically it's a Verizon Collection Service. If you call the number back and confirm you are the owner of the phone, it will say you are past due by whatever amount. Do not provide billing zip code or any other info to this caller/voicemail system. To check your account balance or pay Verizon directly, call the contact info on your bill or check it online.
Read below for why you should NEVER provide account info or even personal info as small as your billing zip, to anyone who calls you. Always hang up and call the original debtor/account holder (in this case Verizon). Use ONLY the phone number listed on your statements from them (not collection statements) or by finding them in the phonebook/online and getting it there.
Here's the deal with called from "Verizon Message Retrieval System" etc. 3rd (or even 4th or 5th) party collection companys often take over the job of collecting on late cell/home phone bills. Some even pay to but these accounts for pennies on the dollar because then not only can they recoup the money owed to the provider (Verizon, etc) but they can make bank. These folks operate in shady ways and even if you pay them, your account may never be credited.
There are also scam artists out there who call and often even have your correct name, and ask for payment on an amount owed. If it's a message it will ask for you zip. Hang up on these people or if you got a message, DO NOT enter any info.
If you do have a bill with a phone provider that you are currently using, either mail them a payment, or pay online (fastest), or if you can't dial out on your cell, you can usually call your voicemail and it will redirect you to bill pay. These are all legit and your account will get credit for any payments made. (Be sure to write down the confim #.)
If you want to confirm a bill owed to a provider you are no longer with, call them directly with an old statement and give them the account number and they will be able to tell you if you have an outstanding debt or not. (You should check your credit report as well.)
If you do have an outstanding bill with a provider you no longer are with and plan to make a payment, ask if you can make one online (sometimes this is not possible if you no longer have an active account), pay over the phone, or send a payment to the payment address listed on an old statement.
NEVER make a payment over the phone, online, or in the mail to any company other than the original debtor. Even if a collection company contacts you, check with the original debtor first to assure you still owe that amount. Collection companies (the shady ones especially) often times attempt to collect on debts that have been paid off (sometimes years ago), because they will either get a payment from the original debtor (i.e. Verizon) if they submit a payment for your account, or with 4th or 5th party collection companies, they have paid to buy your debt from the original debtor or even another collection agency, and will actually lose money if they get no payment from an account. They will attempt to collect on old debts that have been paid off, just to recoup their costs and make money on top of that.
I have had an issue where I continued to receive calls from an AT&T collection company saying I owed over $200 and I never even had an account with them! (I called AT&T and they verified I did not owe anything as well.)
Don't let threats to your credit by collection agencies scare you either. Provided you are keeping up on payments and do not owe old bills to providers you are no longer with, the shady collection agencies really can't do anything, but the threats will seem intimidating. Be sure to regularly monitor your credit report for any false reporting. If there is an error or false report you can ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS write the 3 agencies and dispute the report in question. Then the original debtor must provide evidence that the amount is still owed or the report must be removed from your credit reports.
I know I went into excessive detail here, but I'm so F-ing sick of the shady collection companies that blatantly ignore FTC and FCC policies and call with fake CALL ID numbers, call at 4 am, try to scare people with threats, or try to collect debts that are no lonfer owed. I'm a Director of Client Services in a major firm and I know damn well what is and isn't legal.
It's entirely possible these particular calls are from a legit agency or even Verizon themselves, but as the process of calling an unknown voicemail system has not been widely publicized, it is questionable as to it's legitimacy. (I especially question it, as I called the number and it's saying my bill is double what it should be, and I just paid it 2 weeks ago. There should only be a current bill owed and it should not be past due yet.)
The faster people get into the practice of only paying the original debtor, the faster we will see and end to shady collection companies and their ridiculous threats.
You were provided a service by the original debtor. Legally they are the only ones you have to pay and despite what a collection company says or even Verizon, ATT, etc themselves say, you DO NOT have to submit payment though the collection company. You actually SHOULD NOT submit payment through the collection company. You have far more legal recourse if you submit payment to the original debtor directly and then they try to say you still owe the bill, than if you submit through a collection agency, and many 4th or 5th party agencies regularly change names or cannot even be tracked down or contacted if there is an issue...which means if you pay them, your money may never get to Verizon to credit your account, which means that not only did you waste the amount you paid on a collection company that will never give it back to you, but you will also still owe Verizon the original amount plus any late fees. I watched a neighbor go through this. Don't let it happen to you.
Try to pay your bills on time, always pay the original debtor directly, and when in doubt or if you're getting threats by collectors, contact your State Attorney General for more info.

An automated call From "Verizon Wirless", although the wrong voice, and asking if I am Dan. If it's Verzion, they already know it is me.
Says something about Verizon...funny thing, I have Alltel and have had for many many years...bills are also current..first time I've ever seen this #
Its a collection agency that uses automated crap to screw you. This is their website demo, unbeliveable! varolii.com
This is an automated system from Verizon wireless to
notify of a past due bill or other account issues.
Bill collectors! Bah!
This is odd, I contact Verizon and they said they have not contacted me my account is current ect. I called the phone number and they informed me they can only locate account with a social security number. I don't think so. Be careful this company is committing some form of fraud. Do not give them any information if you call them. They have been calling my home and cell phone daily for five days in a row and they always call after 8pm.
No message, nothing...... Caller ID showed Varolii Corp. Sounds like others repeatedly get this call so I'll report here again if it continues
Repeat calls to my wife's cell phone from unknown caller. We do not answer calls from numbers that we do not recognize. Obviously these calls are from butt-heads who don't have brains enough to be able to find a real job.
If the calls continue, I will be filing reports with the FTC, BBB and any other agency that I can find.
I called Verizon & they said there was no reason this Varolii would be calling me. I called Varolii & they're jerks. "We're a major corporation, we have every right to call as often or whenever we need to"
Josh Henry's getting signed up for some interesting mailing lists!

The phn#: 206-315-3010, has called my landline phone 7 times in the last 3 days. This number comes up a "Varolii Corporation", which used to be PAR3, and it was something else before that. Funny how they feel that they need to keep changing their name. If they are connected to Verizon Wireless, it would be as a contract company. I sure would not trust any company in any way that cannot even keep the same name. If you want to Harass the "VAROLII CORPORATION" back; here is some info that might help. email: Support@Varolii.com. Phone#: 18002062979, which even has a voice mail system, where you can leave them stupid messages. One way to fight back, that might slow these types down some, would be to give them back, a taste of their own medicine.
I received two calls on my cell today from 206 315 3010. Both of these calls were received within a few hours of each other. I did not answer either call and both call left voice mail. The first voice mail was digital giberish. The second voice mail was a computer generated message claiming to be Verizon, used our account name and advised to call because our account needed "immediate attention". After I started to investigate this telephone number, I recieved a call on my landline from the same number and it listed "Varolii Corporation" as the caller name on my CID. There website is varolii.com. 206 315 3010 is a landline telephone number. I hope this info is valuable to anyone bothered by this number.
Said it was about my overdue Verizon bill of $200.00. I do have Verizon but my bill has NEVER been late. I managed to override their "menu" and talked to a human and told them the person they wanted wasn't me. I also was concerned how they got my number but with a different name. I was reassured that number would be removed so I knew then it wasn't actually Verizon.
Yes this IS a call from one of Verizon's "vendors". Don't let their ignorant or lying operators tell you differently. I finally got them to admit it after numerous calls and emails to Verizon's security department. The name of this vendor is Varolii. They are incompetent and call people who aren't late, they call you family members and they call people who don't even have a Verizon phone anymore.
Just google Varolii and you will find pages that explain their business practices such as:
"Varolii Corporation announced Varolii Predictive Analytics(TM), an on-demand service that helps organizations understand, analyze and strategically target more effective customer outreach for collections, customer service and loyalty programs. Combining client data with the behavioral insight gleaned from billions of Varolii-led customer interactions, Varolii Predictive Analytics helps companies identify who to contact, when to contact them, through what channel, using which treatment, and how frequently in order to generate the greatest response. This combined data offers much more than a simple success or failure measurement; it's a complete record of customer interaction and response on an individual level. The application is designed to gain intelligence from these conversations and progressively 'learn' to predict customer behavior. At the highest level, Varolii Predictive Analytics can help companies analyze contact strategy options and select which will work best to solve their specific needs. At a more tactical level, it can help decide such things as an appropriate collection strategy based on Varolii and customer history, including probability to pay, days delinquent, and other metrics for improved results. Varolii Predictive Analytics measures, and then recommends: The optimum messaging, The correct calling frequency to use, and Appropriate self-service or agent-interaction options to offer for maximum customer interaction."
Sounds great doesn't it?
Verizon Wireless. Left a message to call an 800 number. Probably because payment is late...
It was Verizon Wireless, my bill was late but I paid it yesterday. The recorded hadnt updated yet. They did leave a message.
no message left but when I searched on line for Varolii corp. It is not verizon but software company
no name; no message. I'm not a Verizon customer, and at this rate, probably never will be!
these are probably contract - private people, who are making money from a marketing programs or other set up, with Verizion, and it is a very common ploy, the phone companies allow this, and we all sufffffffer. there is also a possibility that an off shore or over seas group is set up for use and allowed by the phone company, as well as 800 number access, that "bounce" calls thru the bigger companies systems, all based on greed. money, etc. RECALL THE BAIL OUT OF WALL STREET, THIS IS IT FOLKS, making money anyway they can, get caught, fined, and do it again, and again, and again, totally indifferent, deliberately avoiding laws, regulations, etc.
I am in the Marine Corps and the military terminated my contract with Verizon under enlistment procedure as it was no longer needed. Everything was good and haven't gotten anything in mail but they started calling my fiance who I used as a reference to originally get phone and also my father. Saying I owe payments and I don't even have their service via serviceman opt-out contract. These people need to get their information straight!
this is a third party automated collection agency run out of seattle, and contracted by verizon. As a result of the automation, and simply the policy of the company, people that have no affiliation with verizon receive calls. It is supposed to be about late payments, and you can ask verizon to remove you from their list.
I have received 6 calls within the past 2 days. No message is ever left. This is getting annoying! If it is verizon they'll be happy to know I plan on switching companies as soon as my contract is up- which is very soon.
I just got one of these calls this morning. I didn't answer since I don't answer calls I don't recognize. I don't think it's Verizon though since I don't have Verizon. My brother does, (he doesn't live here) but he's paid up and anyway, why would they call our land line instead of his cell?
verizon needs to get paid!!! lol
Call came with no name-do not know anyone at this number. Wouldn't give name Call came at 4-28-2008 at 2:19pm
Bill paid up. Some clown calling you for money or account changes. THINK. Do you REALLY want to trust your payment or any information about your account with this 'new number'? Even if they are contracted by Verizon, there's yet another party that is now getting information on your account. GO BACK TO THE NUMBERS YOU USUALLY CALL TO DO BUSINESS WITH VERIZON.
let's see. I pay thru ONE NUMBER for the past two years. Bill is paid up when I checked last week. So why would I get a call from Verizon from a number Unrecognized? THINK!
2063153010 so verizon - call colorado freightways for their bill not me. i dont' have verizon, i don't own or owe their damn bills!!!!!
They have called me several times. I do not and have never had a Verizon phone.
Got called on my Verizon cell twice today by this number (no message) and also my daughter who has an account with T-Mobile that was under my name until she turned 21. If they were indeed Verizon they text you that your bill is overdue and they don't call without leaving a contact message.
And for the dipshit who called himself "enforcer" above and said "pay your bill cheap bastards and you won't have the need for this phone call. I hope your account goes into collection. Typical **********s.", don't act like this is a valid collection agency doing this shit, moron.
This number calls at least once a day. Cannot get a human when I return the call. The message has the sound of urgency and uses the phrase "changes to your Verizon wireless account". A service rep from Verizon said it's not from them. If Verizon has something to say to their customers, they call them on the Verizon line..
This number is registered to a company called XOTexas, from Seattle Washington. This is a scam. Do not call back. Do not even answer those calls in the future.
Because they are calling on my land line I have blocked that number from calling again. Verizon rep also suggested going to 'donotcall.gov' and entering that number. If calls continue to come in you can report them and they will be fined.
Whats funny is I got a phone call from this number and I do not even have Verizon.
So I would lean more towards it being a scam it comes up on my caller ID as PAR3
People, ignore all these folks on here talking about "pay your bill". I am on the phone with Verizon Wireless NOW and they are opening an investigation. They informed me that they don't even HAVE a Seattle office! On top of that if you live in the Southeast, and have more sense than a rock with eyebrows, and are getting these calls anytime before noon, you would KNOW this is fraud calling because Seattle is THREE hours behind! By law, they cannot contact you before 9AM THEIR time. Which means, if you get a call at 8:04AM, who the hell has office ours in Seattle at 5AM in the morning? Anyways, if you are a Verizon customer, I urge you to call 611 (free call from your cell) and report this. Verizon is a GREAT company and I've been with them 8 years. I've also been late a few times so I can tell you there is no Financial office in Seattle. You would get a call in the AFTERNOON, ONCE or TWICE a day from a number with an (813) area code.
I have been getting calls from this number as of Friday. They called four times Friday as late as 9pm. I never answered. They also called this morning at 9:25. I didn't answer. I am calling Verizon now to report.
It's been calling me again, and again I havent paid my bill for 2 months. I do believe this is likely some reminder service but it is sort of wierd.
automated call,,,,, verizon wireless
Called twice today--first at 8:00 AM, then at 2:30 PM. I did not answer, and they left no message.
My Verizon bill is paid; if this is Verizon Wireless, they aren't dunning me for money (or shouldn't be).
I have received TONS of calls from this number for the last 3 weeks. I have never answered it because I figure if it was that important they would leave a message, which of course they NEVER do. I don't answer calls I don't recognize so they are pretty much wasting their time calling me. Whoever it is.
calls:
11-15
11-13
11-13
11-12
11-12
when i called it back they claimed to be a message center for verizon for text messages.
The number asked me to call 800-249-2462 to pick up a message from Verizon Wireless regarding my account.
The reference number for the "message" didn't work to pick it up, nor did entering my cellphone number.
Instead, I was referred to another number, 800-382-7114. I called it and it's Verizon Financial Services.
So I take it, the message wasn't working, but it was VW.
Yelled at us not to hang up on them again or else. Calling at all times of day and threatning us.
i've gotten calls from this number for at least 5 days????no idea who it is and my verizon bill is current????
a clever marketing plan. If you answer, or if you return the call it'll cost you a minute(s) depending on your plan ... lots of minutes = lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$ for verizon.
This number has been calling for days...several times a day. If this is Verizon calling to remind me of a late payment, this is obnoxious enough to make me quit the service. What happened to the text msg they used to send which was a nice reminder. I don't answer calls from numbers i don't recognize. So, they're wasting their time. I agree with person below..it gives off a stalker vibe. How unprofessional. Between this & the latest on the 94,000 numbers big V is on it's way outta my life. I hope they monitor this site.
i dont know who this is or what is it...is there a way to make this number stop calling me? this number is calling me almost every day!
This number calls my cell phone twice a day, every day. I will not answer, since this is obviously no one I know. This has been happening for 10 days in a row now.
thos person asked for naked pictures of my daughter, she's 12. first contacted onaol musio, then goes by Aim screen name prsking... beware!!!!
Verizon letting you know you account is past due and requesting payment.
"pay your bill cheap bastards and you won't have the need for this phone call. I hope your account goes into collection. Typical **********s."
I have a novel idea for you, go f@#k yourself and keep your pathetic thoughts to yourself.
Verizon does not handle billing issues this way. Maybe you are the dipsh@t calling me "enforcer".
I've gotten this call for 3-4 days. I do have VZW but my bill is current. VZW says it's not them.
pay your bill cheap bastards and you won't have the need for this phone call. I hope your account goes into collection. Typical **********s.
Got a third call, called customer service and they didn't know anything about it. They said if it's verizon calling you it will be an 800 number. This is likely a scam, I suggest you all report this to verizon because if this is a scam they should know about it.
Got called twice about 2 hours apart. I didn't answer, but my verizon bill was actually late so I payed it buy calling *611. I would not call this number back and give them the info they are asking for...way too fishy. If I get a third call I will be calling verizon to report them.
10 calls from this number in 3 days, mostly while I was at work. Haven't these people heard of e-mail?!
Before I found this site, I got so fed up, I actually paid a reverse lookup company and they found the number to be owned by "Josh" in "no address" Seattle, WA. I fthis is indeed verizon, why all the sly, secretiveness. If they want my money legitimately, they should legitimately contact me.
verizon suckz !!!!!!
This is Verizon Wireless' Collection Center looking for a payment.
Caller id says "Par3". There is a par3 communications company in Seattle, but then if you call the number, a recording says says "Verizon Wireless Messaging system." I called Verizon Wireless directly from my cell phone (611) and told them. They said that they have no such number on their contact list and that they will investigate. THIS IS LIKELY A SCAM. DON'T CALL BACK AND PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION!
i say it's a scam for you to call back with the code in which the call goes to a auto mated system to get info. from you ...SO DONT CALL BACK OR YOU WILL BE SORRY. IDENTY THIEFT
6 times on 1 feaking day and i already payed my verizon bill...same number on landline and it said it was verizon
If it were Verizon calling about a billing issue why would they block their own number, why wouldn't they attempt snail mail or electronic communication first, and why would it happen to people with automatic payment?
THINK, damnit.
Fucking annoying
THIS IS NOT A CALL FROM VERIZON. THIS IS A SCAM!! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. IF THEY SAY YOU NEED TO PAY YOUR BILL. HANG UP. THEN CALL BACK VERIZON AT 611 AND DEAL WITH THEM DIRECTLY!!
Supposedly from Verizon Wireless. Prompted to call back and enter a code to find out about a change to my cell phone service.
Started getting calls from this number Sept. 4, 2007. Have logged four calls so far, I have not answered any of them and no mmessages were left.
No name no message, call back and it says it's verizon "message retrieval center", probably just a hoax to phish credit card or other numbers from you? I'd call Verizon back directly instead of this number back.
they have called twice a day for the last couple days. Don't answer unknown numbers so didn't answer. this site informed me who it is though the bill isn't due
Doug - This means someone might have gotten a hold of your SSN, and used it to open an account with verizon. So they tracked your info to Sprint, and now calling you. It happened to my dad, so it could happen to you. My dad never had Verizon, but a collection company contacted him. So check your credit report.
To the people stating to "just pay the bill",or that "this is Verizon", the problem I have with these unfounded statements is that I have received 3 calls from this number, answered once. Problem is, I don't have Verizon, never have had Verizon. No one I know has Verizon. If your argument is valid, why call a Sprint customer, and why not state the reason for the call. Seems odd.
Ummm... to the idiot that says that this is a scam: how about you call Verizon yourself to see if it's a scam? They will tell you it's not.
received two phone call from this number on saturday 24 2007. no name.Call back no answer.
Third call from this number today, never leaves a message.
this is not truly verizon, it is a scam. call verizon immediately and report that this seattle based fraud is contacting you. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION, WHATEVER YOU DO.
Claims to be verizon wireless requesting payment
Called 8-7-07. Left no message
Maybe we should pay our bill?
Has called me every day around the same time. Generally from 8 - 9 am. It never leaves a voicemail so I don't know who it is, but if it is Verizon that's weird because I don't use Verizon as my phone service.
It comes across with number and Par3 on my phone.
No message
Called and left no message. Read on this and other sites that it was probably Verizon Wireless billing, but my payment is automated and can't possibly be delinquent.
Ummm okay, I don't even have Verizon!
I answered - no one on line - ID simply stated Seattle WA
Must be Verizon Wireless like everyone else says. Caller ID said "Unknown" and no message was left at 8:27AM (Central Time) this morning ... 7-16-2007.
Didn't answer but this number called me 8 times in 1 day
I'm guessing they are calling me about my cellphone bill. What bothers me is that I signed up for automatic debits. In about another week, they will figure this out and deduct the money from my bank account. It has happened every month since I signed up for the automatic debit. I'm planning on calling them because I checked my bill yesterday and I have $5 late fee charges. They should pay the late because they have my permission to take their money when its due. Idiots ...
I been getting these calls from this number and finally they left a message. It is not about a late payment and they said this is for some dude named Michael Contreras? And, then proceeded to give a code and some other numbers. My bill is current and I just deleted the message.

I'm guessing its Verizon because this site says that's the number. They call - no joke - 9 to 13 times a day. Never leave a message. Really annoying. I was a month behind on bill - paid online so we'll see if they stop.
Somebody from Alaska keeps calling claiming to be with Verizon Wireless. Up to 3 calls per day for several consecitive days. My bill has never been late and I am unsure as to the reason for the calls. No Messages or VoiceMail, just hang ups.

This is an automted call from Verizion Wireless regarding changes in billing status. It doesn't have to be about billing. I received a call at 8:16am on 11/06/2006 and they left a voicemail identifying who they are and the purpose of the call.
