How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

he call me last night 4 am and ask me for money and yesterday may 12 he called me again
I've gotten 2 calls from this number and there's no answer when i pick up, and no message left if i deny the call.
Have recieved calls from this number about every other day for last few weeks. Only answered once and there was no response on other end. They never leave voicemail.
This number called me (on my cell) and only asked if I spoke russian or Armenian?????? Said no... they hung up
I just received a call from that number and missed it. When I called it back, I got an automated phone temporarily out of service message. I don't know anyone from CT, so I decided to look the number up. This is so strange.
I keep getting calls from the number on my cell phone. Some days it is 4+ times. I have missed all calls except one and a woman asked me if I spoke russian. I tried to call the # back and just got a message saying all circuits are busy. It is soooo annoying.
A call came in on my cell phone with this number, when I answered a woman spoke in a foreign language then hung up. When I was going through my caller id on my land phone I noticed that the same number appeared.
Do any of your names end in IAN ? I figured it was some armenian organisation

I answered and there was a very bad connection and all I heard was a woman say "sorry".
I assumed it was just an individual who had dialed a wrong number, but decided to check here.
Seeing the comments here, I will file a complaint with donotcall.gov

Got a call and no one said anything, just dead air. I hung up.
Woman spoke Russian - said hello. I speak Russian but told her she had the wrong number. It sounded like she was calling from mars... a lot of static.

Called 2 times, the 1st time hang up without a word. Second time, first, I didn't understand what that women said, then she was waiting on line. Just told her that it was not the first time she called and told her to excuse herself instead of saying nothing.

Woman with an accent asked if I speak russian and I answered "who is this" then she hung up
same scam...but since I am armenian I thought it might be legitimate. Young woman asks "do you speak armenian" My wife says no..they hang up

Someone called with this NEW HAVEN CT number and hung up.
I also received a call but it was a man. He asked if I spoke Armenian and when I said no, he hung up.
The same thing just happened to me.......Except she didn't switch to english....and she ended up hanging up.
Woman started off speaking Armenian and then asked me if I spoke Armenian or Russian. Then switched to English to sell me long distance telephone service. Unfortunately, I didn't ask her what company she represented.
