Received this call on my work phone. Recording advertising debt relief (0% interest, gee). Pressed 1, asked to have my number taken off, he said (politely) that he would. Supposedly "The Debt Specialists".
Hey, TheyKnowME...what is the number? I'd love to call these guys & mess with them.
he doesnt.
I threatened to kill his parents, and hung up.
He called me back from a functioning Number telling me i should be careful who i say things to if they have all my information. I asked him for my first name, he couldnt give it to me.
He assumed i was unemployed because i have wednesday afternoon off. He claims he owns the business and makes hundreds of thousands of dollars.. per month. In Sunny Southern California, and im... on the east coast... in the boon docks? Southfield... Maryland? (so much for having my information). I called them back repeatedly and it sounds like 4 young 20 somethings who heard something on the radio to own their own business.
if people want to call them back.. let me know :)

A robo-dialer, if you press 2 to be removed it hangs up on you. If you call back the lines are temporarily busy- a voicemail recording I'm sure. These assholes called my CELL and I don't have a mortgage. I HATE these kinds of scammers. I want to know how they got my cell number.
Robo call here as well. "Tim" with some mortgage debt relief scam. There was even a bit in there about President Obama's mortgage relief program. It was kinda humorous. Same thing with the "Press 1 for more information, press 2 to be removed from our list."
2 is the surest way not to be removed from the list.
Damn robo call! They called on my employer issued cell phone! Some dumb ass calling himself Dave, trying to sell me some debt relief crap. I just hung up, and reported call to my employer.
Unknown call - sales call. A partial recording was left in voice mail, so it's a robo-call. All I got was "...to hear more about this exciting offer. Press 2 to have your number removed..." after which I erased the voice mail.
