OFFENDER: DENIS KALTCHEV (FORMER OLYMPIC BUL SWIMMER) CASE # 12A003894 OFFENSE: FRAUD – THEFT Denislav Kaltchev is currently listed in the USA Swimming registration database with a note saying that the National Headquarters clearance is needed for him to re-register with USA Swimming. In other words, he will not be allowed to re-register anywhere in the USA, without going through the Colorado Springs office of USA Swimming. It appears that USA Swimming is aware of these (or other) allegations, and has flagged his membership, if and when he tries to rejoin USA Swimming.

I attribute these boiler room bottom feeders to Tax Slayer. I haven't received a single phishing or spam call this year until 3 days after filing my taxes on line, then BAM, I'm getting 3 per day, minimum. Coincidence? Not likely. I also created a new email account called taxslayerxxx@xxx.net that I used in filing my taxes with them. Wouldn't you know it, I'm getting about 9 spams a day in it along with my tax filing correspondence from taxslayer. Can't trust anyone these days.

Called my cell phone and left a voice mail about a free cruise for two to the Bahamas. It did state "press 9 to decline this offer and be removed from our calling list."

Sure, Jeff, the FTC carries on a hot side business selling DNC-registered phone numbers to all bidders. As we all know, a ten digit sequence cannot *possibly* be guessed by those newfangled difference engines or calculating machines or whatever they're called, and there is simply *no way* a few million phone numbers could be dialed sequentially and in a single day in a systematic geographic pattern by a determined gang of ne'er-do-wells who hide behind shell corporations and spoofed VOIP numbers. Why, it's unthinkable ...

Caller ID said "District of Columbia". No one on the line when I answered so why do they bother to call? This is a pay-per-minute cell phone with a number I never gave to ANY company for their database, just to a few friends. So they must be robocalling cell phone numbers at random.

Our government is the largest telemarketing distributor of "legit" phone numbers.
They sell these lists to them and say now dont call the folks on this list , but if you do we will look the other way and wont do anything to you
So of course your going to get calls.

Same, no vm left. I'm also on DNC home and cell, whatever... This sounds like same group that was running out of several WA state numbers for awhile, calling on my cell. If you have an android, set up a new contact (mine is called 'Annoying Telemarketers':) Under options, set 'Diverted Calls' to On. Drops them in your vm without ever ringing. Best thing is - if they start using alternate numbers, you can add those in the same contact under home, work, fax, mobile...etc. Ahhh, bliss!

It's some unidentified company offering a cruise for two people in the Bahamas as a prize if one is willing to answer some questions. Reported to do not call list.

Same here- answer questions and win a cruise. As soon as I mention the DNC list I got hung up on. I reported it directly to our State AG office. The National Do Not Call registry has zero enforcement and complaints are not reviewed unless an investigation against the offending company is launched. What triggers that is anybody's guess. It sure isn't repeated violations of DNC as Card Services and Rachel the Robo-Caller repeatedly prove. I think it's going on probably close to 10 years I have been getting regular calls from them and nothing seems to slow them down even though who it is, where they are from, the name of the CEO, etc. is well known.

Recorded call saying to win a free cruise, respond to their survey. Caller ID said only "Cell Phone DC." I didn't press 1 to take the survey, but this sounds like fraud and a phishing call.
