caller is cash grant institute of washington, they are calling on behalf of requestagrant.com. this website has a page to report abuse, such as being called when you are on the do not call list. from their site,"The RequestAGrant.com site has many different organizations sending traffic to our site. If you have received an unwanted email or telephone call, let us know so that we can investigate it. Affiliates that send spam or make calls to people on the Do Not Call list will be terminated." not sure if they really mean this or just use other organizations as a loophole so they aren't the ones prosecuted. its ridiculous that these places have their own do not call lists and ignore the one provided by our government. heres that page to report these a-holes: requestagrant.com

To receive money how I got a call

definitely a scam i think! i was told i could get grant monies from...yadda yadda

I received a call saying I was eligible for free money (grant) So whats up with this is it a scam? Because we really could use the money .We were able to get our home out of foreclosure recently .Not sure about the future.........

I was also told I could get free grant money from the government and other sources. Can we report these people to someone who can throw them in jail to rot for a thousand years??!!!

If you are on the do not call list report all such calls to esupport.fcc.gov. Reporting to the do not call list folks is a waste of time as they do nothing. The FCC will.

I am on a no call too...I guess if this from the Government, I guess they do not have to go by the do not call list?? Has anyone actually tried the grant monies??

don't rememebr what they leave when they left an message. AND i appose to be on the NO call list and and still get calls like this..

I also am on 'do not call' list, but also understand that non-profit and political calls are exempt from the do not call registry. With scams on the rampage and people in dire straits, it's difficult not to at least inquire. I'm not going to take the bait. Too good to be true, probably isn't.

Called and left no message

They call me the same time on the same day every week.

They called me 4 times in the same hour. First was a recording stating if I had questions to call, but I didn't even know what it was regarding, so I just hung up. Second time, a woman asked if I was 'still interested' in school and I told her I was already in college and to please not call. Last two times they called, no one was on the other end. They have only called my cell phone.

"RequestAGrant.com" or some such... apparently they don't honor do-not-call list as they called my cell that is on the list. Off to report them... perhaps with enough complaints something will stick (can hope)

left a message saying we were eligible for government and possibly other grants and private monies that would never have to be paid back??!!!!

i was told to get on and i would be ablle to get a grant on the net and i do not know how to do it.

I have reported them to the Do Not Call list, since I'm on it.
