I read with half hearted interest the panic of these poor fools that are being called on the phone by the ACLJ. It is apparent that this is an act to defame an excellent organization. I was tickled at the bad spelling, grammar, and overall histrionics these complainers have produced. Get over it. You got on the list, get off it. I doubt all of you are that stupid, I think this is staged......And by the way, Christianity is not about the person who often does not live up to "Faith without works is dead"; Christianity is about letting God, through the word, work on lives through Christ. But this is going to be lost on many, which is more the pity. I stumbled into this sight by "accident". I was trying to see the organizational name J. Seckulow (sp?) works for. I was in prison for five years and listening to his testimony on the radio and his work making sense of the world and fighting injustice made me a fan. I wonder too, how this sight made it to the top of the Google site. It takes some pulling some strings (money) for that. Send them money, they deserve it.

I have never seen such a bunch of confused people in my life.

I have repreatedly told these losers to stop calling me but they refuse to honor my request. Looks like I will need to block their numbers once again.

I have been getting calls from this number for a year and a half. Each time they ask for someone who the number does not belong. I have repeatedly told them that no one by that name lives here and to remove me from the list. I finally had it today and talked to a supervisor Christy Overholts and told her to remove my number and that I will report them for harassing phone calls. She became very rude! I further told her that my number is listed on the do not call list!!! I believe that when I do not have anything better to do I will repeatedly call them as I do not have to pay for long distance!

This is a Christina organization. They appear to be using a computer to call lots of people, but they don't have enough operators to respond when someone answers. I've gotten this too frequently and am annoyed. Since they are a charity, they do not fall under the protection of the Do-Not-Call-List.

Wow, all these complaints regarding 202-552-1972. I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Agency, but what good does it do if they never do anything about it. Why hasn't 202-552-1972 been shut down???

It's realy annoying, they call every single morning and sometimes in the evening too. Every time I answer the phone, nobody is there, yet the phone calls keep coming. It has been weeks now!

The ACLJ I know is the American Center for Law and Justice. But the calls I get from this group tell me show up as ACLJ and then ask me about my credit and how I can qualify for better interest rates, blah, blah, blah. ????

This is just another example of the lust for money and power by the so-called religious right. They are so blood thursty and power mad that they will use your emotions to hound you for every cent that you have. I suggest before anyone sends money to these self appointed religious leaders read what Jesus taught in the Bible. He did not teach war,lawsuits against others or the mixing of politics with religion.

Jerks. I don't need their calls. I especially don't need to be wasting my time on a daily basis only to get a machine hanging up on me. Then, after following the process to get them to remove my number from their database (thanks to the info on this site), they say it should happen within 30 days?!?! C'mon! With the system they have in place, they should be removing my number within MINUTES of my request! They've just ensured NOT receiving any of my money.

Is there any way to get them to stop?

This company has been contracted to do fund raising for the ACLJ. Jay Sekulow and his ACLJ is a great organization that defends free speech rights and other constitutional rights that anti-American left wingers are trying to remove from society, but his choice of fund raising companies is an extremely poor choice. These losers are worse than telemarketers. Unfortunately Coral Ridge Ministries uses the same bunch too. Even though they are to great things for the world, I won't send either one of those groups a dime now that they use telemarketing, arm twisting methods to raise funding for their work.

This is the American Center for Law and Justice based in Washington, DC. We did make a one time donation and now they won't leave us alone! They call several times a week when we aren't home and never leave a message. I called the 202-552-1972 number back and got a recording that indicated they were calling us with information and would call back again in the next few days. However, I found that if you then press 1 for more information you get a second promt and can press 3 to stop receiving phone calls from the ACLJ. The recorded message said that our phone number would be removed from their call list within 30 days. Guess we'll wait and see - hope it works.

This was the first time I answered because the Called ID did not identify it as ACLJ. The woman on the line did, to which I replied that I had already reported you SOB's and do not call here again.

Second call this week. Did not answer. No message left.

They call my house almost everyday. My husband answered tonight. I usually won't pick up. I looked it up and it is American Center for Law and Justice. They asked for me, and our phone number is not listed in my name. They stated they were Am. Center for Law and Justice and he told them it was too late to be calling and hung up. I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and do not like being solicited. For all I know it could be FRAUD and not the real ACLJ.

Rings and when I answer no one is there; my caller ID shows this phone number calls me EVERY WEEK DAY at different times. If I do answer, no one there. How irritating.

Here's the scoop. These calls are from a phone bank for ACLJ. The computer calls 3 numbers at same time; the first to answer gets the call, the other 2 are dropped. CWFA does the same, and I was receiving calls from them earlier in the year. They were much more sympathetic. Up until today, I gave monthly to ACLJ, but because I am SO annoyed by these constant calls, I told member services I won't be donating anymore. They replied that 'they' are aware of the problem with these types of calls, but I guess they must get more positive responses than negative. I'll just give that money to MAF instead!

This idiots have been calling me every morning around 9:30 AM. I tell them hot to call and they call anyways.

Call came in at 12:06pm EST. A woman asked for someone unknown to me. She apologized for dialing the wrong number. That was the end of that.

I called the number on caller ID and pressed 1 right away and then 3 right when the next recording started. I was asked to enter my phone number and was then told the calls would stop within 30 days. I hope it works! Thanks for the info.

These knuckleheads calls me at least twice a day. If they don't stop calling, I may pick-up the phone and curse them out.

They have been calling for the past two weeks non-stop, every morning 9-10, and again between 12-2 pm. It is really annoying. The Caller ID always shows ACLJ. They never leave a voicemail.

This is the second call I have received from this number with dead air when I answer. Very frustrating, to say the least.

They call every day sometimes twice a day. Never leaves a message and won't respond when I say hello. Caller ID says ACLJ. Can't help them if they don't won't to talk. But then why do they call?

They call my home at least 1/day no messages left. I am on the DNC registry and report them every time. I have also reported them to the FCC and sent a letter directly to the ACLJ office in Washington, DC to stop calling. I do not donate money to anyone - charity begins at home. Don't know what else to do to get them to stop.

We have received dozens of calls from this number. If we answer, there is no one there. If we don't answer, they never leave a message.

This number has called me on a constant basis for the last few weeks. When I answer, I get no response.

Yesterday, I answered and some elderly woman responded, said hello and asked for a name I've never heard of nor does live here.
I informed her I've just received this number and asked to be placed on their DNC list.
She said I needed to answer a few questions.
No problem, never mind the red flags that were suddenly waving.

She turned to someone, started talking about a hair that was in their face (not making this up)...then commented "oh, thats how it's done"...then click.

I also let my machine get it and they left no message. You would think an organization (ACLJ)that seeks to fight for laws on the books would pay attention to the DO NOT CALL list.

These people call daily,at various times,even on Sundays and are relentless. They never leave a message. I am on the DNC list since July 2003. I went to their website, called the number there and left a nasty message to stop calling me.

I get many calls per week from this service but when I answer, no one says anything.

Got call twice, once today and one yesterday. Both times I picked up the phone but no answer on the other end. I am male and may be they want to talk to a women, I don't know. It is very rude to call me and not talk to me when I do pick up the phone. If they are truly Law and Justice firm then I am now doubting their motives!

Have recieved several calls from this number. Everytime I answer they hangup. Must be a predivtive dialer and the telemarketers are busy by the time I answer the phone.

These jerks call everyday and never leave a message. Been getting such calls from them for a few weeks, anytime from 8am to 10pm despite being on the no call list. When I complained to the DOJ thery said they have no authority to enforce the DNC law.

Call came in at approx 3:45pm EST, 1-29-07 with ACLJ the only identifying text. Asked for my husband, when I asked for a message and who was calling, there was no response. Called back, but line busy. Searched Google and found this site. We are on a Do Not Call Registry.

I believe these people are after donations. I agree their work is good, HOWEVER I don't have a job and do not have money. I have regisistered twice for the do not call list. Apparently if you have ever given money to any cause any where they find you. STOP CALLING US! PLEASE

202-552-1972 belongs to The american center for law and justice. This company has called every one of my phone numers of which all are on the DO NOT CALL list! I have filled a complaint on the DO NOT CALL web site and am writing a letter to my Senator regarding this harassment.

I have a problem with this too, as I find these calls on my call log *daily*. I have no problem w/ ACLJ except that I do NOT want anyone soliciting me for money - particularly so frequently. I am on DNC list also.

You are then sent to another person who drills you to give money for their cause of fighting for Jay Secular against Dr. Michael Newdow the atheist who perpetrates all the removals of God in our schools, government and life.

Called @ 10:15 AM. There was no one on the other end when I answered.

They call once a day at least, sometimes 2. No one says anything, no recording when you answer.

I have been getting calls from this number also. When I realized it was the ACLJ I was ok with it. After all they are out there fighting for our rights as Christians and I am great with that. If you do not want to hear from them again, tell them. If that doesn't work, then block their number. I'd rather hear from them anyday over anyone from our morally corupt congress. I also received this call. They were asking for MRS. ANDREW (last name) I have a teenager named Andrew (last name) When I told the woman that Andrew was a teen and didnt have a Mrs. She said she must have the wrong #.

I got this call... when I answered no one was there. Of course, it was dinner time.

With 2 calls from similar numbers with only initials on the caller id, both from D.C., I checked the initials on Google and these may be the American Center for Law and Justice and the Concerned Women for America. Both are Christian Conservative activist groups, probably calling about current Congress.

Same day as call from CWFA 202-552-1966, reported by this site to be CVS Pharmacy. Neither leave msg.
