How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Eastern Research Services is not a true research/survey company. Here is what is posted on their website: "Clients can augment surveys with digitally pre-recorded messages at any point within an interview, playing commercials, music, or concept statements and then immediately resuming the interview." They clearly are in sales, not surveys. They are subject to Do Not Call jurisdiction, despite what they say.

We will find your clients that you so rudely refused to name and then hung up on us and we will oppose them until they learn to have respect . Your business will suffer , Their org will fail.

If you are ashamed of your "Client or " They are afraid to give their name they need to be bankrupted. Never call anyone without identifying your client or who is receiving the data .
Recvd calls from both DC and Omaha. Told both of them to go fly a fVVVking kite
Said they wanted to do a survery on drug awareness. I kindly asked them not to call again. I have received calls recently from another number identified as Omaha, NE wanting the same info. Very annoying.

Called at 12:45am. Nice. I never answer unknown calls and they left no voice mail, of course.
Evidently being on a DO NOT CALL list doesn't mean anything to them because they keep calling. Ever since I did that stupid DNC (do not call) I have been getting all sorts of weird phone calls.
I have gotten three calls today. I didn't answer the first two, the third one went to
the answering machine and they hung without saying anything. There has got to be some
way we can stop this sort of thing, evidently being on a DO NOT CALL list doesn't
mean anything to them because they know the Goverment isn't going to penalize them.
Calls several times daily -- every day. Even after I told them not to call, the calls keep coming. I consider this harassment.
These folks called my business phone twice on Saturday, neither time leaving a message.
They said they were taking a poll regarding music and that if I qualified I could recieve a free card of some sorts. I didn't really answer yes or no to the survey, they went ahead and asked if I had a PC in the home. I answered, they then asked if I had one at my place of work or elsewhere outside of the home. i answered and they said, thank you and hung up. ??
