How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

I've gotten several calls from them (various numbers) over the past several days. No message, and the one time I picked up to tell them to leave me alone the call was disconnected.
Said they were calling on behalf of Pres. Obama's reelection campaign. Asked me to make a generous donation of $150. I said I lost my job and had no funds to contribute. They then asked for $25. When I said no they hung up. Very rude.
hangs up when ans machine answers. I simply ignore it.
This is the first call I have received from this number. I did not pick up.
These people do not leave messages. They call continuously.
Repeated calls from this place. I called back. Their message says that they are working on behalf of several nonprofit organizations who have identified me as a past contributor. There is an instruction on the message for removing your number from their call lists. I did this over a week ago, and am still receiving calls. I believe they do say there is a lag in removing people's numbers.
I object to non-profits I have supported giving my phone number out to this organization. I always make a privacy/ no junk mail request. Since I do not know what organizations use this group, there is no way of intervening with them directly.
Also, how do I know if other organizations are giving my number out to them, so it all starts again.
PS: They never leave a message and to me that = NOT INPORTANT. IGNOR.
Has been calling for over 3 months now. I do not answer. This is one that has continued calling when most of the others have given up.
Have called me over a dozen times in the last month and never leave a message. I reported them to the NO CALL list.
Just recently receiving calls "Share Group" leaves no message.
Caller never leaves message. One on 01/21/2010 and one today 01/22/2010.
