I got the same type of call.
An Individual by the name of "Frank" left a message saying that he was reviewing homes in my neighborhood and that I qualified for a inter-county financing rate for my home.............(what ever that is) I've never heard of it. Told me to call 1-800-210-4789 to discuss it but I didn't.

I AM CONSTANTLY GETTING CALLS FROM THIS COMPANY ON MORE THAN ONE PHONE NUMBER ON MY CELL PHONE, SOMETIMES TWICE A DAY. PLEASE MAKE THEM STOP, IT'S EXTREMELY IRRITATING.

Whadda fack mayn. I just got ma new juke phone from verizon and i got this call on the 2nd day i got it. I called back and it said to hold. I waited like 4 seconds and i remembered some scams that charged hella lot for a minute so i hung up. I searched it on google and i found this. Daaaam mayn im only 14 i dont have any property or credit cards daym leave me alone. just playin. im not that mad its just the first call they gave to me. Could someone tell me what to do when they call again?

Strange. I also received a call at 1:07 P.M. I don't answer calls I don't recognize either. So I logged on here and saw the last post mentions the time and looked up at the computer clock which said exactly "1:07." Just a funny coincidence?

I got this call this afternoon at 1:07pm. I dont answer numbers I dont know. I checked the voice mail and it was dead air. I dont answer unknown calls because there are scams from businesses that can charge thousands per minute.

In my constant bombardment by Dish TV I received a phone call regarding them from 201-215-1773 on a Sunday morning. I pushed "1" to speak to a rep and when she answered I told her I have a very distinct complaint against Dish TV and asked to speak to a supervisor. She hung up on me. I called the number back and received a message about the time I called not being within their normal business hours. I will call the number back tomorrow on a Monday, but don't expect to reach anyone.

They rang the phone but never left a message. I have a local business and as a matter of policy, I don't answer "out of state", "unknown caller", and etc. phone numbers.

The way I handle these calls, if they are recurring, is to answer the phone, say nothing, and when they start talking, hang up on the bastards. Usually, the calls will stop!

How do I stop them from calling?

  1. Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
  2. If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the FTC.
  3. Block them with a call blocker:
