Who Called Us

I just got a call from this number. The 200-000-0030 is some kind of "cover number", considering the person left a message saying his name is Scott Cetera and he was calling from SCS, about Canisius College? When the 200 number came up, I didn't answer since I did recognize it and let the voice mail get it. He did leave another number of 716-882-4515. I blocked the 716 number, but couldn't block the 200 number with my company because...guess what? It comes up as INVALID!! Thesse are sneaky "people"!

I answered the phone, a man coughed, apologized saying he had a cold & asked for my husband by name. He identified himself when asked who was calling but refused to say from where when I asked. He said "from? Why do you have to know from?" before I could answer he said "shut up shut up shut up SHUT UP!!!". Then he hung up on me!

Called my DID at the office. Left no message was an immediate hangup on voicemail.

just block the number its sounds grant related..they don't speak english so i do not know what they are talking about...the only know how to call you a biatch for not understanding them...now...the number is blocked and i'm on the do not call registry.

caller said he is a marshall from district court and i have to go to police station for two hours.

These people called from (876) 382-1429 but instructed my mother-in-law not to respond to that number. Instead they wanted her to call (200) 000-0030 with payment info. They wanted her to pay them a $900.00 "processing fee" so they could release two million dollars to her... and they've been hounding her about it. She's 88 years old, but even so she knew it was a scam. What she's really furious about is the constant hounding these people are giving her! I'm filing a complaint with the FBI so I doubt they'll be stupid enough to keep it up.

Very faint voice in the distance looking for someone in my house and when I called back it said the telephone company was having problems. It is an unknown number and they do not provide any information.

Just a P.S.- I saw that someone said it was NCO Financial. I found a phone number and called NCO Financial and it wasn't them. It might have been them 2 years ago when the gentlemen posted but I can assure all that as of July 6, 2010 that phone number has nothing to do with them. They said they did not have my phone number in their records. I would think if it was them and I owed money they would admit to calling so they could discuss it with me. Also, spoke to my husband, he answered the call this morning said no one was there, and just dead air. So, I hope this helps a little.

Got a call at 8:15am (few minutes ago) I missed the call. but I have optimum online (cable telephone kind of like vonage) and when I looked it up in my call list it say's it is from Egypt.

I got a call from this number she said I was chosen by the government to receive a grant of $7000.00 that I never have to pay back. Offered by U.S. Treasury. I asked for her Treasury ID number she said hold on and hung up.

So I just received a call from this number, its 7:45pm. I don't answer weird numbers. They left an automated voicemail and its from Transworld Systems - which is a collection agency - who found my resume on careerbuilder and wants to interview me. HAHAHA Hell no! Damn shit businesses calling.

Received a call from 200-000-0030. A woman named Fern left a message looking for a Roger (No Roger in this household) She stated in the message that she was calling from the Testone Senior Center. The Number she left was 585-340-3376. I did some research as this is a Rochester NY Landline Number. There is no listing for this number doing various Reverse Searches and the I looked at all the Senior Citizen Centers in Rochester NY and none exist.
So, either it was a wrong number or someone "Spoofing" with the 200-000-0030 and don't know who they were calling. I never answer calls from 800/866/877/888/or any odd Area code that pops up on caller id. I check the area code first as the phone rings.

received 2 voice mails on my NJ State telephone voicemail - however, whoever called played muzak at 6:25 p.m. and the during 2nd message received a moment later - you could hear a woman say "why are these people not here?"

my outgoing message clearly announces this is a State office so I am unclear why i am receiving such calls

I called the number back and some lady told me it was a private cell phone and hung up on me...

Caller ID said unavailable. They called my fax number while I was busy. When I checked there was no fax. I am on the do not call list.

I am on the no call list and when I saw the 200-000-0030 number I started to let the machine pick up. When I answered, it was an online pharmacy. They had the wrong number however.

I got a call and the person said they were trying to deliver a package. When I asked what package they said they had called earlier about it and thought I knew what package they were talking about. I asked him to identify himself and he said he was from sunshine vacation club and has a vacation package to deliver. I told him to not call again and I was on the do not call list. They called back three more times immediately, waking my two kids.

This 1-200-000-0030 number is on my caller ID. We are on a NO Call list....I don't know why we keep getting calls like this. It's annoying.

Calling 2 or 3 times per day. What kind of phone number is that?

Actually answered despite sketchy looking caller ID number- got a recording saying they were calling from "Card Services" and that they were calling about the balance on my card, lowering interest rates, the whole thing.

My caller ID only identified this company as "unavailable," so I answered the call in order to help me ID them (the number, 200-000-0030, also seemed suspicious). I dialed "1" as instructed, and after about a minute, an operator answered. She said her name was Tiffany from card services. She said was I interested in lowering my credit card rates. I asked her if I would have to change my card (trying to see if she was calling from a card company I've dealt with). She said no. I said, how does that work? She said, they work with my current card company to lower rates. I then told her my true agenda--I told her I wanted them to stop calling me. As I began to tell her I was on the Do Not Call Registry, she hung up. By the way, those of you who got their company info---how did you find this out? Address.com says they're unavailable.

Collection calls from 200-000-0030 - SPOOFED CALLS. SPOOFING is illegal so call and email the authorities. Company is NCO Financial Collections. I tell them to sue me and hang up. I notified the attorney genenral's office today.

Calls from 200-000-0030 come 4 and 5 times a day, everyday. You pick up and get dead air or hangups. Shows Dowingtown, PA. This is a spoofed number and I reported it yesterday to the Attorney General's Office in Harrisburg, PA And the FTC. It is illegal to spoof.
