How do I stop them from calling?
- Ask the unwanted caller to stop calling and put you on their do not call list (they are legally required to comply).
- If your number is registered with the National Do Not Call Registry you can file a complaint with the
FTC. - Block them with a call blocker:
Uniden DECT1288 blocks up to 20 numbers, plus Private and Unknown, with the reject tone, without ringing the phone.
Panasonic KX-TG106 blocks up to 30 numbers, plus all unidentified callers, with a busy tone, after the phone rings once.
JF Teck Caller ID with Ring Controller blocks up to 70 numbers, and can be set to always allow up to 100 to ring through.

Called my land line 1147 PDT. Haven't heard from this number for a while now.
Called my land line 1223. Did not answer, but I'm going to do the best I can to log every telemarketing call that I get. Maybe with enough logs, telemarketing can be outlawed. It may be enterprise, but it's not FREE. Call recipients pay through the nose in aggravation alone.

Just logging frequency of calls here. They also tried calling from whocalled.us on 2008-04-02.
They're still calling - just once only today.
This number calls infrequently: 2-3 times a day, then nothing for a month or more. Sometimes the caller ID number shows as (180) 094-9993 and sometimes as (800) 949-9935 (whocalled.us) which when Skype'd, comes back as "Startec Global Communications". It's just another common-or-garden Long Distance tele-spammer, who ignores OOS messages: 2008-02-06 14:35:55 and 2008-02-06 14:36:22.
Appears to be spoofing the caller ID information - full number never shows up
